For me, an engaged employee is someone who feels a deep connection to their work and the organisation. It's not just about being productive or meeting goals; it's about having a sense of purpose and belonging. When employees see how their efforts contribute to the bigger picture and feel valued and recognised for their contributions, they’re more likely to be motivated and invested in their roles. Engagement comes from a blend of meaningful work, supportive leadership, and a culture that encourages growth and collaboration. It's this holistic connection that turns a job into a fulfilling experience.
